We entered the 24th year of our glorious academic journey in july 2016. From the humble beginning we made in 1992, having crossed many memorable milestones, today our school is a dream destination for students, teacher and parents alike. I wish to begin celebrating our success with an expression of gratitude to our illustrios management, past and present whose vision, wisdom and missionary zeal inspired all stake holders to work with passion and commitment. We also remember with gratitude every one of those who walked along with us -every student, every teacher and every parent who contributed his or her best to built this edifice of excellence. While expressing our gratitude "We must remember that the highest appreciation is not to utter words but to live with them."

It gives me great pleasure to welcome our Cheif Guest, the invited dignitaries and all the parents present here on the occation of Sport Day Celebration of the school. On this memorable occasion we rededicate ourselves with firm resolve to create a brilliant future.

I have great pleasure in presenting the the Annual Report for the academic year 2015-2016.

This event gives a great opportunity to highlight the achievements accomplished by the school in this session. The school has once again excelled not only in academics but also in co-curricular and extra curricular activities

In academics, the school produced an excellent result in Class XII with Miss Sahina Sabnam securing 95% in Science stream, Master Gautam Keswani 89.6% in Commerce Stream and Miss Aarthi Ramnath securing 93.6% in Humanities. The pass percentage of 96.52% in 2014-2015 of class XII surpassed that of the last two academic sessions. Class X result being 100% was just outstanding.

The school feels proud that Master Vikas Tripathi brought laurels to school by joining OTA, Gaya through Technical Entry Scheme.

Theres more to a school than teaching and learning. 'True educaton is training of the head as well as the heart'. Teaching value and life skill from the beginning goes a long way in shapping the young mind to respond positively to the challenges of an ever changing world and tackle life astutely. Life skills are inculcated through relevant activities that enable the children to develop their self-esteem, critical thinking emotional intelligence and Personality development. The school has been effectively implementing CBSE CCE pattern and has already secured top position i.e. A category in this cadre. Our school function both as a Mentor school and also as city Coordinator for the CCE launched by the CBSE. This mantle of academic leadership awarded to the school is a recognition of the wealth of experience gathered by our teachers over the years .

The school is performing very well which is evident from the fact that the school strength has increased manifolds over the years and every year there is an increase in the strength. To cater for this rising demand many more additions have been done to the infrastructure. Major renovation work is being undertaken and the sanction for 4 classrooms is awaited. This continuous upgradation of infrastructure is a part of a concerted drive to provide a conducive environment in which to study.

The school belives in the motto that, "A Healthy Mind resides in a Healthy Body" and encourages its students to participate in all kinds of sporting activities, be it at state, District or Cluster level. At Inter Army Public School Cluster level the girl's team bagged second postion in Basketball match. In Football Tournament, The boy's team stood first. IN Volly Ball Match, both the girl's and the boy's team secured the first position. Two of our boys, Yamu Thapa and Fasil Ibhrahim got selected for National level Footballl Team under 17.

School also take great pride in the achievemenets its NCC cadets namely Lata Chauhan and Shreya Solanki of the class 9th attended the Republic Day Parades 2015 heald at New Delhi and brought laurels to the school. The NCC contingent Lata Chauhan adjudged as the best cadet of Ahmedabad City, ewas appreciated by hounurable President of india. Cadet Shreya Solanki was selected as the Parade Commannder of Gujarat State.

To keep in line with the requirements of CCE for all round development of the students, we introduced more number of clubs this year. All students are member of a club. Each club functions according to the syllabus designed to generate inquisitiveness, intrest, to be creative and imaginative. Beside, we also have CCE clubs exclusively for class IX & X.

In the Inter Armay Public School Debate orgainized at APS Bhuj, our School team emerged as the runners up. The team members Master Yash Singh Pathania and Miss Aditi Parida were adjudged as best spekers and in the Hindi Debate the school bagged second position.

The School Prides itself on consistent award wining perforamance in competitive SOF exams.Many Students have reached the second level eaxams. A number of students received gold, sliver and bronze medals for thier excellent performances. We securaed second positions at Inter School Quiz and Painting Competititons organized by DCIS Gandhinagar. Ten students of our school participated in Inter School Quiz Competition hosted by RBI at AMA. Two of them topped in the competition. One of the exciting winning of the school was that we bagged first first postition in the Go Green Initiative orgaanised by DPS Bopal.

It has been an endeavour of the school to provide its students with ample oppotunities to get an experiance of the outside world by organizing educational tours and excursions throughout the year. The students of the classes 6th to 8th, visited the Scienece City and 9th to 12th visited Lothal.

The School's PTA plays a significant roles in bulidling effective co-operation and partnership between home and school. Periodic metting are scheduled to facilitate effective interactions with parents. We cherish parent's co-operation & thier constructive suggestion in our endeavor of imparting quality eduction.

Independance Day and Republic Day were celebrated with reverence and enthusiasm. Students made our day a memorable by clebrating Teacher's Day. The school celebrated Children's Day in grand way with a variety of programmes. Teachers organised a distinct progaramme for the children which they throughly enjoyed. Various activities including Essay Writing and Poster Making competition were held.


Remedial Programmes

Remedial Programmes are oraganized in all subjects for students of IX to XII.

Comprehensive School Helth Programme

The importance of health, personal hygiene, nutrition, physical fitness, etc is reiterated through several classroom activities throughout the year by Helth and Hygiene Committee. A comprehensive medical inspection by a team of specialists from MH is organized every year.

Career Counselling for students

To keep the students abreast of the growing opportunities and avenues of employment, the school organizes lectures by eminent speakers from various fields and educational centers. I Q ideas, organized a career guidance for students of classes X to XII on different days in the months of September and November.

Club Activities

To hone latent skill in co-scholastic areas, students of Classes VI-X are provided structured opportunities. One such opportunity is the various club activities conducted in the school premises.

Technology Aided Learning

Our teachers are trained in the use of technology as an aid in lerning. All classrooms are upgraded with LCD projectors which make the learning both enjoyable and effective.

Special Assembly

Special Assemblies are organised on special days to make the students aware of the significance of the day. The school celebrate special assemblies on important days Labours Day, Earth Day, Worlds Population Day, etc.

Teachers empowerment programmes

"Teachers are also learner," saying updated is the key to success in any field especially in education. Our teachers constantly strive to stay updated by attending workshops and various training programmes. Many teachers attending various workshops conducted by FDRC, new Delhi from time to time and disseminating to other teachers. For education to be complete, it must include not only the training of the intellect but also the refinement of the heart and the discipline of the spirit. Through explicit and implicit school based activities we provide conscious, relevent opportunities to enable our young learners to acquire knoledge, skills and the habits of mind and heart that will develop them into confident, creative individuals a well as active, informed citizes. This annual report is much more than a statement of the schools activities and achivements in the last academic year. It is a reflecton of the school ethos, an expression of the conciction and faith with which we pursue our goals and the very spirit with which we work. We work as a team to maintain and enhance the glorious tradition of this great institution.

I wish to conclude this speech with a prayer to God thanking Him for this benevolence and grace and seeking His blessing and guidance to make our tomorrow more rewarding and more fulfilling.
